    Since 2018, The Dahlonega Plateau in Northern Georgia has been regarded as a viticultural area, which means its unique soil quality, sun exposures, and climate make it extra special for growing wine.

    You will find that these wineries and tasting rooms provide picturesque views, beautiful settings, and great areas to gather together.

  • Crisson Gold Mine $55

    Tour time is every Monday & Wednesday 10am - 2pm. An Additional Tour can be offered 2pm - 6pm. Crisson Gold Mine offers Gold, Panning, Gem Mining, and walk-thru tours of the Historic Mining Museum by a knowledgeable guide. As well as being the largest stock dealer of mining equipment in the Southeast, Crisson houses the largest rock and mineral shop in North Georgia. Rich in history and modern mining techniques, Crisson Gold Mine is a favorite attraction for visitors coming into our area searching for that precious Georgia gold.

  • Historic Dahlonega $45

    Tour Time is every Monday & Wednesday 10am - 2pm and Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 2pm-6pm. Lumpkin County was created on December 3, 1832 by an Act of the General Assembly of the State of Georgia. The boomtown of Auraria, Dahlonega, and all of Lumpkin County’s heritage included the Cherokee Nation and our Nation’s first Gold Rush.

  • Discover Dahlonega $55

    Tour Time is every Wednesday & Saturday 10am - 2pm. An additional Tour can be offered 2pm - 6pm. In 2023, Southern Living Magazine named Dahlonega, “The Best Small Town in Georgia”, as well as being rated #4 for “The Best Small Town in the South”.

  • Amicalola Falls State Park $45

    A nature lover’s wonderland, it’s only 8 miles from the Appalachian Trail and withing the Chattahoochee National Forest. The park is named after its most treasured feature, Amicalola Falls- a magnificent 729-foot waterfall that’s the third highest cascading waterfall east of the Mississippi River.

  • Valleys & Vistas $45

    Tours time is everyday 10am-3pm. When you explore the beautiful mountains of North Georgia, you’re bound to hear about the abundance of waterfalls and hiking trails.

    Whether you prefer easy hiking trails with short distances and gentle elevation gains or challenging treks with lots of inclines, there is a beautiful vista or valley just waiting for you to discover.

  • Consolidated Gold MIne $55

    Tour Time is Monday & Thursday 10am - 2pm. An additional tour can be offered 2pm - 6pm. Upi and your family will enjoy a 40 minute Underground Adventure of a REAL Min with one of their friendly an knowledgeable staff members. As you descend the stairs, you will hear tales of miner’s struggles to uncover gold deep within large quartz veins. Your tour guide welcomes interaction from the group as you experience life as a miner at the turn of the century.

  • Cherokee Tribal Journey $55

    The Cherokee people have resided in the North Georgia area of the Blue Ridge Mountains for hundreds of years before the arrival of white European. This included the environs of present-day Dahlonega, Georgia, home of the Georgia Tribe of the Eastern Cherokee.

  • Alpine Helen Georgia $50

    There is no other town that packs so much charm and so much to do into 2.1 square miles. Helen started as a home to the Cherokee, and then to European settler who came for the gold and the timber. Today, people come for the Blue Ridge Mountain setting and the Southeast’s finest Bavarian Village.. a glimpse of Germany.
